To help promote its upcoming exhibition, #NewSelfWales – which explores self-portraits in NSW in the early 21st century – the State Library of NSW has set up special photo booths throughout Sydney and regional areas.
These booths allow the public the chance to have their photo taken to then become part of the exhibition.
The photos are part of the biggest public display in the history of the State Library of NSW.
Nowra library is proud to announce it will host a photo booth from Friday, November 16 to Thursday, November 29.
The library wants Shoalhaven residents to be part of this unique project, by coming in and taking selfies to be uploaded to the exhibition.

It will also include over 2000 intriguing objects handpicked from the library’s underground stacks to go on display.
Being a part of the project means the Shoalhaven community can join the 20,000 plus portraits, which all tell a different story about NSW and its people.
What does the face of NSW look like in 2018?
Help us find out by sharing your portrait on Instagram using the hashtag #NewSelfWales, or come in and take a photo of yourself in the photo booth at the library during November to be part of this historic, exciting and interactive exhibition.
