THE wet weather has again caused havoc on the Shoalhaven District Cricket Association, with all games, across all four grades, ending in draws.

Despite all teams being forced to share points, there was a number of strong performances on Saturday – especially in first grade.
At the Bernie Regan Sporting Complex, Nowra were sent in by North Nowra-Cambewarra and posted 161, thanks to 44 from Cameron Fernie.
With the white ball, Norths were best served by Damian Spelta (3/12), Hugh Gillen (3/44) and Justin Weller (2/19) – before the game was halted during the change of innings.
It was similar circumstances at the Berry Sporting Complex, with Berry-Shoalhaven Heads posting 9/258 against Bomaderry before play was abandoned.
With the bat, the hosts were led by Nathan Thorn (60) and Blygh Herron (41), as Heath Muller took four wickets for the Tigers.
Finally, at Lighthouse Oval, premiers Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemens started their title defence by reaching 3/108 against Ulladulla United, before play was stopped.
Chris Bramley (27) and new recruit Blake Munilla (26) led the way for Ex-Servos, while George Walker, Aaron Wester and Angus Rutherford all got one wicket for United.
In second grade, 34 from Michael Blattner guided Bomaderry to 8/124 against Sussex Inlet at Bomaderry Oval before rain interrupted play – with Christian Sargood (2/2) and Jake Westley (2/6) being the pick of the bowlers.
At Sancturary Point Oval, two wickets each from Norths’ Tobias Hanger and James Cohen saw Basin fall to 5/70 before the rain, while Luke Jurancic’s 56 helped Ex-Servos post 163 at Hayden Drexel Oval against Berry – who were best served by Evan Logan (3/7).
The final game at Hanging Rock lasted three overs, as Ulladulla reached 3/8 against Batemans Bay, before the rain.
In third grade, rain prevented any results at Lyrebird Park between Nowra (7/149) and Berry and Norths (71) and Ex-Servos (0/4) – with Barry Cumberland taking 3/24 for the latter.
The other two games saw Bay (2/127) draw with Sussex and Basin (9/104) draw with Bomaderry – who had Mitchell Graham take 5/11 and Gary Evans claim 3/7.
Finally in fourth grade, Mike Howard’s 31 steered Berry to 79 against Bomaderry, despite two wickets from Robert Mirabito and Jasper Dunn, while Brett Mark (40) guided Norths to 8/119 against Bay, who were best served by Kasper Matuschka (2/8).
The last game saw Ex-Servos (1/69) draw with Ulladulla at Milton.
