The Wesley Centre Nowra has opened its doors for a monthly community market.
The event will run in conjunction with Shoalhaven Neigbourhood Services and Nowra Makers Market Committee to create the new Wesley Centre Markets.
Every fourth Saturday of the month this market will be full of stallholders with hand made and homegrown local goods, bargain items and a sausage sizzle hosted by Wesley Centre staff.
“It’s our pleasure to host this community market each month, with both Wesley Centre and Shoalhaven Neighbourhood Services raising funds and providing support and services to Shoalhaven’s homeless,” Cindy Fitzpatrick from the Wesley Centre said.
“We encourage everyone to help support the markets and its charitable efforts.”
Stallholder fees raise funds for the Shoalhaven Anti-poverty Committee whose ‘perspectives on poverty in the Shoalhaven 2018” report was recently launched by mayor Amanda Findley.
Wesley Centre Markets is located on Berry Street next to Nowra Uniting Church and is on this Saturday, October 27.
