Chimwaza was born in Zimbabwe and lived in the African nation until his mid teens, when he made the move to Nowra.
Since then, his rugby career has gone from strength to strength, so much so, that the 22-year-old made his debut for the NSW Country Cockatoos this season – an achievement that brought him to tears of happiness.
Check out his incredible story below, on this week’s edition of the Wide Ward of Sports.
Be sure to tune into the next edition of the Wide Ward of Sports on Monday at 4.30pm, when Rob Crawford and Courtney Ward recap all the latest South Coast’s sports action.
