Thursday, October, 18 – Midweek Mountain Bike Ride, Booderee National Park; 35 km return, moderate pace, medium difficulty, some traffic, unsealed roads, fire trails, mountain bikes are required. The ride starts at 8.30am from the intersection of Jervis Bay Road and the Hyams Beach access road (Booderee Ave). The route is via Caves Beach, Wreck Bay, Stony Creek Road to the ruined lighthouse then a very scenic ride to Governor Head, and Murray's Beach before returning along Jervis Bay Road. There are spectacular views of the Tasman Sea and Jervis Bay along this ride. Bring water and snack food. Coffee will be at Vincentia after ride. Contact Rod 0428 211 487.
Sunday, October 21 – Worrigee to Callala Bay; 35 km return, moderate pace, medium difficulty, some traffic, sealed roads, unsealed roads, bush tracks, mountain bikes are required. The ride starts at 9am from the bus shelter on Worrigee Road, just before Shoalhaven Memorial Gardens Lawn Cemetery. The ride route is through the Currambene State Forest and local streets in Callala Bay. Coffee break will be in Callala Bay. Contact: Peter Hewlett 0419 418 022. (Ride Leader; Menno)
