
TWO familiar foes will meet on Sunday, October 13 at Valentine Sports Park, as Callala Bay’s Ben Atkins and his NSW will face Victoria for the 2018 National CP Football Championship trophy – after both teams finished first and second on the competition ladder respectively.

NSW ended the championship with an incredible 36 goals scored while only conceding just the one, finishing up with maximum points of 18 taking out six matches, all of which they won comfortably.
Saturday saw the Blues maintain their superiority smashing Victoria 9-nil in their round five clash with Ben Atkins bagging a hat-trick while Matt Hearne, Taj Lynch, Timothy Blowes and Connor Marsh all got in on the act with Ben Sutton scoring an unfortunate own goal
Round six, the final round, saw the Blues dust off Western Australia 4-nil as Hearne grabbed a double while David Campbell and Lynch scored the remaining goals.
The gold medal match will take shape at Valentine Sports Park on Sunday with NSW taking on Victoria at 11am with the Bronze Medal clash between Western Australia vs Capital Football kicking off prior to the big match at 8:30am – both matches taking place on Field One.
