The Blues proved too strong for Western Australia in their round 3 clash as they took the match out in style winning 5-1 with goals to Jack Williams, Timothy Blowes, Harrison Dowdell and a double from the man of the tournament thus far Connor Marsh.
The visitors had something to cheer about as Connor Hunce became the first player to score against NSW at the tournament, but his goal came as a consolation.
Capital Football were to be NSW’s next victim as the Blues ran rampant in a 6-nil victory as Taj Lynch, Goki Saito and Jeremy Boyce all getting in on the act while Marsh was at it again as he bagged his second hat-trick of the tournament bringing his tally to nine goals in four matches.
As it stands both NSW and Victoria hold first and second spot and look as though they’ll be the favourites to face each other on Sunday, in the big finale.
Saturday will feature rounds five and six with the top two playing for the championship and gold medal on Sunday at 11am, while the bronze medal match will take shape at 8:30am.
