Tourism Northern Tasmania in conjunction with Festivale and Cricket Tasmania are offering one person the chance to win two three-day-passes to Festivale, a masterclass for each person, reserved seating at a cooking class and a $150 Festivale food and beverage voucher.
They will also win two Hurricane Hub tickets to the Big Bash game between the Hurricanes and the Adelaide Strikers, held at the UTAS Stadium on January 31 (valued $320), three nights twin share accommodation at Launceston’s Grand Chancellor Hotel, and a $600 flight voucher.
Festivale is a three-day event held from February 1 to 3 in Launceston’s City Park.
Celebrity chef Matt Preston will offer a cooking presentation alongside 80 food and beverage stallholders.
A stage offering continuous live-entertainment, such as Kate Ceberano, the Hoodoo Gurus, comedy acts and a raw talent festival, sets the scene for relaxing days and fun-filled nights.
Festivale chairman David Dunn said meat, seafood, fruit, vegetables and boutique wine, beer and spirits were on offer from stallholders from across Tasmania.
“If you are a foodie Festivale is the perfect place to be. We have such an array of high quality produce, and Tasmania is now seen as one of the best food bowls in Australia,” Mr Dunn said.
“When you come through the gates the options are there to enjoy. Whether that be enjoying a glass of wine and something to eat, getting involved in a masterclass, sampling a variety of exciting foods, or just enjoying the party atmosphere.”
