Those six teams were; under 13s girls green and gold, under 13 boys green and gold and under 12 boys green and gold.

The tournament consisted of teams from Victoria ,Tasmania, Canberra, Eurobodalla, Far South Coast and Shoalhaven.

Shoalhaven  had a very successful weekend, with both the under 12 boys gold and under 13 boys green winning their divisions.

On top of that, the under 12 boys green and under 13 girls gold finishing as runners-up.

The under 12 boys grand final, which pitted both Shoalhaven teams against each other, was played in great spirit with both sides playing high quality attacking football with neither defence giving an inch.

The scores were locked at nil-all at the end of regulation, forcing the game into 10 minutes of agonising golden goal extra-time.

With only seconds left in extra-time, the gold team scored a fortuitous goal to break the deadlock to take out the prestigious Karl Posselt Cup.

A special mention to Huskisson’s Kingsley Smith for taking out the Best and Fairest award for the tournament in the under 12 boys division.

The under 13 girls gold side, coached by Sampson Hollywood, played with 10 players for the majority of the tournament, after Anna Simon and Emily Hill were injured in the first game.

The girls played four pool games resulting in two wins, one draw and one loss- to progress to the final, where they were defeated in the last 30 seconds of golden goal.

While the under 13 girls green side, coached by Andres Garin, chalked up one win, two draws and one loss during the tournament.

The 2018 season  has been a very successful year for the Shoalhaven representative teams, having won branch titles in the under 12 boys, under 13 boys, under 12 girls and under 16 girls age group, while finishing as runners-up in the under 12 boys.

On top of that, both the under 13 boys and under 16 girls teams won the prestigious Country Cup.
