John and Kay Austin celebrated their recent milestone at Wharf Road, surrounded by friends, family, and their entire bridal party.
The couple tied the knot on September 20, 1968 at St Aidens Church in Annandale.
They were married by Reverend Hemmings and celebrated their reception at the Barclay Lounge in Bexley.
Their bridal party included Steve Dickson, Warren Phelps, Ken Gentle, Margaret Nelson, Jeanette Smith and Chris Skene.
A honeymoon at Brampton Island followed.
The pair marked the occasion with their children and their partners; Darren and Tracey Austin, Brett and Fiona Austin and Nathan and Melanie Austin.
Their grandchildren Dakotah Austin, Jade Austin, Harvey Austin, Elly Austin, Jarvis Austin, Marshall Austin, Summer Austin, Dean Austin, Fletcher Austin and Ciara Austin were also there to celebrate.
