In their first year back playing for the Shoals, Kieran won Player of the Year, while Mark took out both the leading point scorer (199) and leading try scorer (35) awards – with Steven winning the first grade Best and Fairest back award.
The two other major award winners on the night were Doug and Leah Rattey (Club Person of the Year) and Tyson Sue (Rookie of the Year).
Joining Steven Brandon in the first grade awards were Ava Raboitoga (most improved back), Clark Chancellor (Best and Fairest forward), Dane Bowen (most improved forward) and Pumba Spresser (player’s player).
In second grade, the awards were to Duncan Maddinson (Best and Fairest back), Tui Aberahama (Best and Fairest forward), Tyson Sue (most improved) and Richard Taber (player’s player).
While the third grade recipients were Joey Calcraft (Best and Fairest back), Jason Vaughan (Best and Fairest forward) and Jed Ricketts (most improved).
Other notable appreciation awards went to Paul Clements (contribution to club as junior and senior player, coach and sponsor since 1996), Paul Dean (contribution to club as match reporter and board member), Leigh Wallace (contribution to club as junior and senior board member since 1996) and Peter Dun (contribution to club as board member for more than 20 years).
