After the match against competition champion Milton-Ulladulla finished 1-all, thanks to goal from Seagulls’ Josh Fuz and Panthers’ Darryl Bozicevic, the match went to extra-time.
When neither team could find a winner in the two extra periods, the game went to penalties – where the Seagulls held their nerves to win 4-1 and claim the premiership.
In the over 35s men’s reserve grade decider, Nathan McNamara’s goal proved the difference as Sussex edged out competition champions Culburra 1-nil.
