One week after losing in the final minute to the Wollongong Lions in the major semi-final, the Tigers bounced back in a big way against the Wollongong Bulldogs – winning 4.6-30 to 2.0-12 in windy conditions.
In the win, Josephine Hudson kick two majors with one each coming from Maddison Pearson and Emma Dempsey – who was also voted in the best on ground for the Tigers, along with Bridget Kellett, Grace Chapman, Jess Liddiard, Sophie Phillips and Kate Phillips.
Bomaderry will now battle rival Lions in the decider, from Saturday 1pm at North Dalton Park.
Saturday will be a huge day for the Tigers club, with all three grades in their respective deciders – their division three men battle Figtree from 9.15am, followed by their division two men’s match against Kiama at 11.05am.
