3.15PM Motorists heading both north and south on the Princes Highway are becoming increasingly frustrated.
While the earlier concrete spill has been cleared, traffic is queued back toward Bomaderry for 5 kilometres, and 1.5 kilometres at Bolong Road.
Motorist Hugh Barrett said it took him 1.5 hours to drive from North Nowra to the Shoalhaven River Bridge.
Gordy Mill was also caught in the traffic. The 2.4 kilometre drive between Meroo Road and Moss Vale Road took him over an hour.
2.45PM: There has been a crash on the Princes Highway at Bridge Road, Nowra, heading northbound.
It is understood a truck and car crashed about 2.30pm, today, Wednesday, September 12.
One northbound lane is closed.
Emergency services are on scene, expect delays and take caution.
No one was injured in the crash.
Schools in the area have warned parents of possible delays, students will be fully supervised until parents and buses arrive.
Motorists wanting to cross the Nowra bridge from Bomaderry or North Nowra are best to drive towards the bridge via Illaroo Road, avoiding the Princes Highway Bomaderry, and cutting along Moss Vale Road if possible.
At present, this is the fastest possible route, as Bolong Road and the Princes Highway are banked up.
2PM: Traffic is still heavy following a concrete spill approaching the Shoalhaven River Bridge this morning.
Emergency services are still on scene and one southbound lane remains closed.
Live Traffic is reporting queues of up to three kilometres on the Princes Highway and one kilometre on Bolong Road.
Contraflow traffic conditions are in place to allow motorists to pass in both directions.

The incident occurred about 11am, Wednesday, September 12. It is believed the concrete spilled from a truck approaching the bridge.
