Celebrations are on the cards for a Nowra woman who pocketed $200,000 from the latest Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.

She won the guaranteed first prize of $200,000 in draw 1126, drawn on Friday.

The happy woman declared she couldn’t believe her good fortune and plans to celebrate with a barbecue and a few bourbons.

She bought the winning ticket at Sturgiss Newsagency, 110-112 Junction Street, Nowra.

“I still can’t believe it,” she said.

“I checked my ticket on Saturday morning and went onto the website.

“I just had a look and then all these sparkles came down the screen. I was looking at the computer and then at the ticket. I sang out to someone to come and check it for me.

“It’s just amazing.”

The Nowra resident explained she had a few plans for her lottery windfall.

“I want to upgrade my car, but the rest is going straight into the bank for a rainy day,” she said.

“I’m also going to celebrate by having a barbecue and a few bourbons.”

Sturgiss Newsagency team member Leonie Blacka said the outlet was celebrating another big win.

“We sold a Set for Life First Prize in November last year, so it’s great to have another win,” she said.

“We’re very excited for our Lucky Lotteries winner and wish them all the very best!”
