The seventh annual small field days hosted by the Rotary Club of Berry will be bigger and better than ever.
It aims to live up to its motto ‘a great country day out for the whole family’.
More than 110 exhibitors from all over Australia will display the latest farming equipment, machinery and supplies as well as everything you could want for your farm – plants, trees, mowers, garden equipment, water tanks, solar solutions.
There will be a fantastic garden fair display where you can view a variety of stalls offering plants, tools, wheelbarrows, garden art and more.
One of the highlights will be a new pavillion called “Eat local” which will showcase locally produced food delights.
A number of local producers will showcase their produce - ranging from Italian salami, cupcakes, wines, artisan dairy products and local chilis and olives.
A large marquee houses a large range of farm livestock and animals - which is always a very popular attraction for the kids.
An enhanced program of demonstrations and talks providing the opportunity to learn new skills and gain experience with a wide array of guests including Jason Hodges from Better Homes and Gardens, along with John Gabriele from The Compost Heap, Anthony and Brydon from the Berry Vets and a special demonstration of hot shoeing a horse by one of Britain’s first female farriers, Helena Tomsett.
There will also be a dedicated food court for all catering outlets on the main arena, providing ample choice for eats and drinks.
There are always lots to see for children, with the animal nursery, all of the farm animals and chooks on display being a big hit.
Gates open Friday from 8.30am to 4pm and Saturday from 8.30am to 3pm. Entry is $10 per person.
