A fair bit if you swap the barcode.
And a predicament in which Bomaderry woman Wilhelmina Gleeson, 29, has found herself.
In Nowra Local Court on Monday, September 3, Gleeson pleaded guilty to dishonestly obtaining financial advantage by deception, all over $14.10.
Court papers said on July 11 this year she swapped the barcode of a cucumber in Woolworths Nowra for a packet of picture hooks and then proceeded to scan two packets of hooks as a cucumber.
Magistrate Michael Stoddart convicted Gleeson of the charge but did not record a conviction. She has however been placed on a two-year good behaviour bond.
