The school’s Book Week event was celebrated with a fabulous costume parade, a fairy tale trivia game and then it was time for some delicious morning tea and book sale in the school library.
Book Week raises funds to buy books for the school library.
Jervis Bay Public School’s librarian, Kerrie Ewers, said the event was a great success.
“This is a great event that brings families and community together to celebrate the importance of books and reading,” she said.
“The excitement of dressing up as their favourite book character leaves huge smiles on all the students' faces.
“Book Week is one of the highlights on the school's calendar.”
