In windy conditions, the first quarter was a tight affair, in which both teams had limited chances in front of goal – as minor premiers Bomaderry led 1.4-10 to 0.1-1 at the first break.
The second quarter belonged to the Tigers, who kicked four goals and one behind, while the Dockers didn’t register a score – as the lead stretched to 34 points at half-time.
The second half followed suit, with the Tigers kicking another two goals in the third and one in the final term – with the Dockers finally breaking through for a goal off the boat of Melanie Staunton in the fourth.
At the final siren, the Tigers ran out winners 8.10-58 to 1.1-7.
The Dockers will now take on Batemans Bay for a spot in the final – with Bomaderry to play the winner.
