Attendees from Jervis Bay, Berry, Bomaderry, Cambewarra, Kiama, Nowra and Jamberoo ate traditional Polish food, wore traditional clothing and were treated to a talk from a guest speaker, whose family migrated to Australia from Poland.
The ladies served up cabbage rolls, potatoes and sauerkraut and cherries with cream.
Next, Nowra CWA will host a drought relief event at the CWA rooms on Saturday, August 25 from 8am-1pm.
Funds raised will be donated to NSW CWA’s disaster fund, and channelled into drought relief efforts.
At the market morning there will be jewellery, handicraft, books, bric-a-brac, plants, clothing and devonshire tea stalls to peruse.
