Adam Quinlan picks up two prizes at Rovers awards night

CULBURRA Dolphins junior Adam Quinlan picked up two of the major prizes at the recent awards evening hosted by the Rovers Supporters Group (RSG).

The Hull Kingston Rovers fullback was the main winner on the night ,as he was awarded the Colin McNicol player of the year and the fans forum player of the year, while prop Robbie Mulhern was rewarded for an impressive campaign with the RSG young player of the year honour.

Elsewhere on the night, long-serving kit man Alan Fellows was named the ex-players association’s clubman of the year, as Ryan Shaw picked up the title of most annoying teammate, as voted for by the first team squad.

The other award on the night, the Chris Fallowfield award, went to Maurice Blair for his service to the club.

The club’s official 2018 player of the year awards will be held at KCOM Craven Park in September with details to be announced soon.

On the field, Quinlan will start at fullback for the Rovers opening Super 8s Qualifiers clash against Salford Red Devils at KCOM Craven Park on Friday, August 10.
