August is a bumper month at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre. On stage there will be an internationally celebrated pianist, a world famous circus troupe, an acclaimed guitar icon, Indigenous Australian music, a treehouse that keeps on growing, and much more.
THE 78-STOREY TREEHOUSE
The 78-Storey Treehouse is a play by Richard Tulloch, adapted from the book by Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton. The team behind The 13, 26 and 52-Storey Treehouses will be live on stage.
Andy and Terry’s treehouse just keeps on growing. With yet another 13 levels, it’s now got a Scribbletorium, a high-security potato chip storage facility (guarded by one very angry duck) and even an open-air movie theatre.

MISSION SONGS PROJECT
Mission Songs Project faithfully explores the musical journey of Indigenous Australian music as Jessie Lloyd connects the traditional with contemporary, revealing the continuation of cultural practice and song traditions into the 21st century.

In Discussion with Roger Woodward
A rare opportunity to hear Roger Woodward talk about his life and career will be hosted by journalist Richard Morecroft. One of Australia’s National Living Treasures, he is a Companion of the Order of Australia, a Chevalier de l’ordre des arts et des lettres of France, a recipient of the Polish Order of Merit, Order of the British Empire and a Fellow of the Chopin Institute (Warsaw). The event will be held on stage in the Auditorium, and will be followed by a light lunch, included in the ticket price.

Roger Woodward Piano Recital
