80 speed zone here to stay on long stretch of Flinders Road
Shoalhaven City Council has responded to the RMS decision to amend the speed limits on Flinders Road, South Nowra.

The RMS has undertaken a speed zone review and measured the safe speed along Flinders Road.
The outcome of this analysis is that the stretch of road from Nowra Creek to the Princes Highway (the bends) will be limited to 50km per hour.
The remaining section of Flinders Road will be unchanged at 80km per hour.
These speed limits will be the in effect from the date of installation, however where required the limits will be reduced by temporary signage to provide a safe environment during roadworks.
