The Tigers, 18-1 on the season, will battle the 17-2 Spiders, in what coach Scott Balsar has called their ‘biggest challenge of the season’.
“The boys deserve to be rewarded for all their hard work this season by finishing in top spot,” Balsar said.
“I’d be disappointed if we didn’t as minor premiers, because we’ve shown this season that, in my opinion, we are the best team in this competition – exceeding many peoples expectations.
“If we continue to build pressure and be disruptive on the defensive end, as well as execute on offence, I know we will get the win.”
Elsewhere, Ken Arthur’s division one women’s side will host Newcastle at the Den from 5pm Saturday, while Ian Ozolins’ division one men are on the road against Springwood.
