She had just spent the night in new Safe Shelter Shoalhaven facility which opened on Monday, July 2.
She summed up many people's thoughts about the shelter.
“Thank God for this shelter,” she said.
Monday’s opening had a few teething issues as the volunteers rush to have the facility open – see video.
Volunteers and financial sponsors will be needed to help run the facility.
