It was a good, fun night with food, table topics and a great after dinner speech given by a long-term member, Wolfgang Suehrer.
The new executive members were welcomed by outgoing President, Di Court.
The new team is president Kylie Rayner, vice president education Di Court, vice president membership Rosemary Brigden, vice president public relations Kylie Rayner, secretary Wolfgang Suehrer treasurer Barrie Hepburn and sergeant-at-armsGreg Coulthart.
Outgoing Area Director, Darrell Mac McLeod, presented 10-year anniversary pins to Elvan Dhinakaran and Wolfgang Suehrer and thanked them for their dedication to Nowra Toastmasters Club.
Outgoing VPE, Lindsay Manktelow with Di Court presented club awards for the year to best contributor: Rosemary Brigden, best evaluator Kylie Rayner, best table topics speaker Wolfgang Suehrer, best speaker Kylie Rayner most improved Rebecca Cooper and Nowra Toastmaster of the year Kylie Rayner.
Nowra Toastmasters meets on the first and third Wednesday of each month at the Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemen’s Sports Club in Worrigee from 7.30 to 9.30pm.
