Thursday, June 21. Midweek Mountain Bike ride Booderee National Park. Approx 30 km /moderate pace / some traffic / sealed and unsealed roads / fire trails and bush tracks. Commencing at 8:30am from the intersection of Jervis Bay Road and the Hyams Beach access road (Booderee Ave). Cycling to Caves Beach then along Bherwerre Beach at low tide towards Sussex Inlet and returning to Caves Beach Road via Elmoos Road and fire trails behind the sand dunes. Refreshments after the ride at the Bayview cafe Vincentia. Bring water and snacks. Contact: Rod 0428 211 487
Sunday, June 24. Coolendel Lookout.40 km return / moderate pace /significant hills / some traffic / unsealed roads / mountain bikes are required. The ride starts at 9:00am from the car park, corner of Princes Highway and Pleasant Way, Nowra (at the helicopter). This ride provides spectacular views of the Shoalhaven River and Coolendel camping ground, from the lookout .For a shorter ride of 15km and to avoid some long climbs, there will be a second starting point at the intersection of Bugong Road and Emerys Road at10:15am.
