Apart from the Gerringong Breakers’ powerful 6-nil win over Shoalhaven Heads Berry at Gerringong Oval most of the matches were thrillers.
Shoalhaven United tested the high-flying Bomaderry side all the way at Lyrebird Sports Park and the Tigers scrapped home with 2-1 win.
The Sussex Seahawks played one of its best matches of the season and hung on for a 1-nil win over Milton-Ulladulla at Lighthouse Oval.
St Georges Basin also played a great match and its 1-all draw with Culburra at Culburra Oval would give the Red and Whites loads of confidence.
Manyana and Huskisson/Vincentia, at Manyana Sport Field, also has to settle for a 1-all draw, while Illaroo had the bye.
After Saturday’s round of matches Bomaderry remains on top 34 points followed by Culburra 29, Gerringong 26, Huskisson/Vincentia 25, St Georges Basin 19, Illaroo 16, Manyana 15, Sussex 14, Milton-Ulladulla 13, Shoalhaven United 11 and Shoalhaven Heads Berry 5.
