NSW Police Shoalhaven crime prevention officer Senior Constable Anthony Jory.

Dear all,

I’m a bit frustrated this week in relation to the steal from motor vehicle offences in the Ulladulla sector.

Stealings from motor vehicles continues to happen despite all attempts to educate people in relation to securing property.

It is just common sense to remove your valuables and lock your doors when the vehicle is not in use.

There is no excuse for someone to aid an offence by creating the environment for a crook to ply his trade.

There is a small video on our Facebook Page of a crook walking around at night targeting vehicles.

The locked vehicles are not touched. The unlocked vehicles are entered.

Remember, the security of your vehicle and your valuables is your responsibility.

Eyewatch: The NSW Police Force Facebook page has more than 850,000 fans and provides crime information, warnings and crime prevention tips that are of major or state wide significance.

At the local community level, we have Eyewatch which has established a Facebook page in every Police Area Command (PAC) / Police District.

Eyewatch is all about connecting the local community with local police and has been an outstanding success to date with more than 500,000 people connected to their local police via Facebook.
