PRESSURE: Under 16 Warrior Matty Stewart looks for support during his team’s first win over Collegians last round.

The State of Origin NSW win over Queensland pre-week inspired many junior rugby league players to play hard and do their best during the latest round of Group Seven Rugby league.

Lyrebird Park was dotted with shade and sky blue with players and supporters of the game proudly expressing their happiness at the latest win.

The Under 16 Warriors, under the guidance of Chris and Gemma McEwan, scored their first win of the season.

Holding on, after a second half comeback by Collegians, the team dug deep to secure the win.

The Under 9 Warriors are proving to be a solid force this season, winning convincingly over Culburra.

Undefeated in all games so far, they are a team to watch. All the best to Junior Group Seven teams playing this weekend.
