The lucky winner is ready to explore more of Australia after claiming the $200,000 first prize in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1102 on June 12.
The man was notified of his win while travelling in Western Australia.
He said the windfall would be excellent “fuel money” to continue his journey.
The man, who wished to remain anonymous, purchased his entry of 10 random numbers online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
When contacted by a NSW Lotteries official the man said “Oh! That’s very good.”
“I’m still a little bit shocked to tell you the truth,” he said.
“I’m travelling around so that’ll more than pay for the fuel – that’s for sure,” he laughed.
“That’ll keep me travelling well into next year!”
The roving man shared he had continued to play Lucky Lotteries while travelling around Australia.
“It’s the biggest prize I’ve ever won. I’m glad I kept putting my tickets in,” he said.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $13.48 million for draw 1103 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $3.62 million for draw 10232.
