Saturday’s race is the second round of the Southern Regions interclub series where a group of the NVC’s sprinters are leading local 14 rider entry.
Despite the predicted winds on Saturday, riders like Richard Vitiello, Scott James, Mark Williams and Michael Berriman will hang in with a bunch and take their chances with a bunch sprint finish.
The NVC’s time trials will be held on the Braidwood Road course starting from Wugan Street at 8.30am. Race distance is 14kms.
Defending champion Levi Johns is uncertain about his form or if he will be able to start as he recovers from a training crash in Sydney where he lost considerable skin on his left side and left leg. Levi also gashed his left hand in this incident.
The challengers for the 2018 time trial title will include Troy Whittington, Mark Astley, Aaron Coghlan, Jade Colligan, Nick Johns and even the top rated B grader, Mark Williams.
This individual race against the clock will also cater for club B, C and D grades.
