The question is where do the players get all their energy from?
Last Saturday at Bernie Regan Oval all the junior players did not stop running.
They were also busy kicking the ball and encouraging their teammates.
In fact, all the junior matches from last week were brilliant and well done to all the players.
In other junior football news, the Vincentia High School’s senior girls’ football team continues to be a force to be reckoned with.
Recently the girls were down 1-nil at halftime against Moruya and started a little off the pace.
A bit of a halftime chat about intensity and getting first to the ball seemed to get Vincentia back in the game.
Vincentia scored two well-worked goals to come away with the win 2-1.
It was a great comeback in wet conditions and congratulations to Ella Hewson for kicking two goals.
Vincentia is now in the final 16 in the state and won the South Coast’s B side of the draw and will play the winner of the A-side in South Coast final at the end of Term Three.
