The pilot program aims to create a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where the focus is on the students' health and wellbeing.
The program helps students develop the skills to make informed choices and feel positive about their decisions.
This program is more than just a bunch of children running around kicking a ball.
It addresses critical social skills and the importance of building relationships through a connection to the world game.
Wollongong Wolves Football Club’s Chief Executive Officer, Chris Papakosmas, said the club intended to have a greater and regular presence in the region.

Wellbeing is one of the major things the program promotes while highlighting the importance of leadership and teamwork.
“They are taking back what they learn to their school and their community,” Mr Papakosmas said.
“I also think through these session it builds up their self-confidence.”
He said education was a crucial part of the program and everything they did had a link back to education.
