Behind goals from Sophie Phillips (two), Jess Thomas, Ellie Priest, Bridget Kellett and Brooke Swankie, the hosts at Artie Smith Oval won 6.7-43 to 0.4-4.
Unfortunately, this was the only victory for the Tigers on Saturday, with both their first grade and reserve grade men’s sides losing to the Lions.
First grade went down 16.13-109 to 3.6-24 to the two-time reigning premiers, while reserve grade were courageous in their 13 point loss (7.13-55 to 6.6-42).
Crosstown rivals Nowra/Albatross lost both their first grade men’s (29.13-187 to 0.2-2) and women’s (11.13-79 to 1.0-6) clashes to Kiama at West Street Oval.
Elsewhere in first grade, Figtree defeated Norths 21.16-142 to 8.7-55, while Wollongong Bulldogs smashed Shellharbour 20.14-134 to 6.6-42.
