A Sanctuary Point man who allegedly threw and mixture of diesel and unleaded fuel on three workers at a local community health service in Nowra last week has appeared in court.

Kenneth John Braithwaite, 57, did not enter any pleas in Nowra Local Court on Friday (May 18) to charges of being armed with intent to commit an indictable offence, three counts of common assault and three counts of throwing an explosive with intent to do grievous bodily harm.
Court papers said between 11.05am and 11.10am on Thursday, May 17 Braithwaite was allegedly armed with flammable liquid with intent to assault the three workers, one male and two females, at a community health service in Berry Street, Nowra.
Court papers revealed he threw a mixture of diesel and unleaded petrol over the workers.
Magistrate Gabriel Fleming dispensed with his bail and ordered he undergo a mental health assessment at Shellharbour Hospital.
