Collier, along with team mates Tanya Hetherington and Tait Mackrill, all recently signed all with the Dons, who are playing in their inaugural season in 2018.
The inaugural GWS recruit in the 2017 national draft, who attended Nowra High School, was deployed as a utility by the Giants across her four games.
“The New South Wales league is progressing well,” Collier, 22, said
“But for this season I wanted to come down to a better league, a better club and play against better opposition.
“I knew Tanya was here and it was good to know someone else who’s got a good footy brain…I spoke to Major and we discussed where the team’s at.
“I thought it would be a great opportunity to build a side from scratch, as most of the sides I’ve played with have been young.”
Collier made her debut for the club in Saturday’s loss to Melbourne University (5.6-36 to 4.4-28) at Windy Hill.
The Dons, 0-2 on the season, next play the NT Thunder at TIO Stadium on Saturday from 4pm.
