The Tigers won the match 11-15-81 to 0-1-1 in what was a great performance of attacking football.
It was the inaugural AFL South Coast Women’s competition match for these two rivals and the Tigers cruised home with a comfortable win.
The Vikings tried hard all match but they rarely got the ball down into an attacking position.
Maddison Pearson kicked three goals for the Tigers, while Jessica Thomas and Sophie Phillips kicked two apiece for the victors.
Grace Chapman, Ellie Priest, Melissa Priest and Katie Bramley produced great efforts for the high flying Tigers.
The Vikings played well as a team and did not go down without a fight.
The Tigers, on 12 points, are in second spot on the ladder, while the Vikings, with four points, are in seventh place.
