On Monday morning, April 23, The Department of Primary Industries (DPI) shark spotting helicopter spotted a three-metre white shark at Hyams Point. The shark was sighted at 8.24am and no swimmers were in the water.
This follows a sighting on Sunday, April 22, at Hyams Beach. The DPI aerial shark patrol helicopter spotted an 2.5-metre unidentified shark at about 8.25am and notified authorities.
