Shark spotted off Callala beach

A 2.2 metre shark was spotted by a helicopter off Callala Beach on Monday morning.

The Department of Primary Industries shark spotting helicopter located the shark at 8.32am on April 16. No swimmers were in the water at the time and authorities were notified. 

Shortly after the sighting, a tagged white shark was detected at Cudmirrah Beach, Sussex Inlet at 8.40 am.
