The changeable weather, from a zephyr to a gale, made accurate bowling difficult. Wednesday saw 36 players enjoying a warm, clear afternoon with a cooling zephyr from the South East.
Two games of Social Triples and 6 games of Social Pairs were contested. A dusty, windy afternoon on Saturday saw 10 players struggling with 1 game of Mixed Social Triples as well as 1 game of Pairs.

Bazza Waters and Peter Smith responded with a 2 but Norm and Trevor would not be denied. They further extended their lead to 18/5 by the 14th end.
A fabulous 5 by Bazza and Peter offered some chance but Norm and Trevor replied the best way possible to take the next end by a shot. 19 to 10 on the 16th end and that is where they stayed as Bazza and Peter played immaculate bowls to close the gap including a sensational six and a fantastic 4.
Norm and Trevor were left gasping as Bazza Waters and Peter Smith caught up and then left them in their dust as they won the game by 24 to 19 shots. What a marvellous comeback!
