That’s where Scooters Wholesale Nowra comes in. The company began as a home family business in Batemans Bay 26 years ago in 1992 and opened its Nowra office in 2008. The South Nowra showroom is in its third year of operation. Original owners and managers in Batemans Bay, John and Elspeth Rawson, were looking at retiring and asked their daughter, Zoe Okely and her husband, Simon to take over in 2008. Zoe and Simon expanded the territory to include Wollongong as well as Nowra.
Shoalhaven Originals is sponsored by the following businesses. Click the link to learn more:
Zoe and Simon love being part of the local community. “The Shoalhaven and Illawarra are such great places to live, we love assisting people to become independent again and being able to enjoy everything the region offers,” Zoe said. “The beaches, the shopping, cafes and local church groups, men’s sheds, CWA groups, View clubs and many more community organisations. Keeping people active and involved in these groups not only assists the individual but greatly benefits the community.”
At the showroom, product lines have expanded to include walkers, bathroom aides, electric lift chairs, electric beds, manual wheelchairs, transit chairs and more. Scooters Wholesale services products it sells, provides in-home demonstrations, services and repairs to most mobility machines.
