The first victory of the day was chalked up by Daniel Lacey’s undefeated Tarsha Gale side, who ran out winners 58-32.
The win was set up by tries by Lilly-Rose Bennett (four), Keely Davis (three), Maddison Weatherall, Abby Holmes, Rhiannon Brown and Michaela Scutts.
Davis landed four kicks, while Bennett and Bronte Girdler got one each.
In the match, which saw the the girls side improve to 6-0, Group Seven was represented by Rhiannon Brown (Bomaderry), Dakotah Mannering (Bomaderry), Bronte Girdler (Stingrays), Abbey Montgomery (Milton-Ulladulla) and Hannah England (Milton-Ulladulla).
Following this win, the Steelers’ Harold Matthews side took the field and smashed the Dragons 44-8.
After the Steelers’ Joshua Goodchild scored in the opening minute, the flood gates opened, with Tyrrell Sloan (fourth minute), Talatau Amone (sixth), Tearana Temaari (eighth), Amone (12th), Goodchild (38th) and Cooper Tunbridge (49th and 59th) running in four-pointers.
Half Tyrone Roberts landed six of his seven conversion in the win, which included Group Seven juniors Joshua Coric and Cooper Tunbridge (both Albion Park-Oak Flats), Riley Wooden (Milton-Ulladulla) and Louie Chilver (Berry-Shoalhaven Heads).
The final junior match of the day saw the Matt O’Brien and Jono Dallas coached SG Ball side record their fourth win of the season, 30-16 against the Dragons.
Two tries from Aaron Schoupp and Mathew Feagai, along with one each from Warilla-Lake South products Blake Dowel and Samuel Hooper, set-up the win – where Hooper (two) and Jayden Suillvan landed kicks.
In round seven, all three side will battle the Newcastle Knights at the Collegians Sporting Complex on Saturday, with the Tarsha Gale side kicking-off at 12pm, followed by Harold Matthews at 1.30pm and SG Ball at 3pm.
