The students, along with their champion alpacas, recently took part in the Canberra Royal Show and turned in an several eye-catching performances.
The team came first in the schools’ competition and competed against eight other high schools and some of the teams were from agricultural schools.
Vincentia had three senior students and three junior students compete and they were Chloe Lattanzio, Eden Roszkiewicz, Issy Boyes, Madelaine Cooper, Hayden Regent and Georgia Matheson-Gee.
Four students, out of the six, gained perfect scores in their sections.
Vincentia’s other students were Georgina Jones, BJ Hawkins and Charlotte Hilton who worked very hard supporting our competitors.
BJ Hawkins was also the scribe for the judge.
The students represented Vincentia High School with dignity and respect.
Many of the school’s alpacas won first and second ribbons.
Thanks to Marion and Mr and Mrs Worthy for their dedication and ongoing support to the school’s alpaca show team.
Meanwhile, Vincentia High just does not have show success with alpacas.
The school, in poultry section at the Nowra Show, won awards galore.
The Vincentia High School Agriculture team won over 30 prizes including reserve champion at the Nowra Show poultry section, which were even better than the results the alpacas got at Nowra.
