Shoalhaven Bicycle User Group rides this week include Thursday’s midweek mountain bike ride through Booderee National Park – 35km return. The ride starts at 8am from the Hyam’s Beach turnoff Naval College Road. The route is via Caves Beach, Wreck Bay, Stony Creek Road to the ruined lighthouse then a very scenic ride to Governor Head, Murray's Beach for a swim before returning along Jervis Bay Road. On Sunday, February 18, the ride is Callala to Myola Meander – 20km return. Starts at 9am from Callala Bay Shopping Centre. A scenic meander around Callala Bay, Callala Beach and Myola. Mountain bikes will be required for the bush or stay on the road if you wish. Excellent ride for those getting back into cycling. Contact: Peter (02) 4446 0119.
