A distinctive red chair, three couches and two colourful stools have been illegally dumped off Yalwal Road under powerlines at Mundamia, west of Nowra.
A Nowra resident, disgusted by the unsightly finding, took pictures of the furniture and reported it to the South Coast Register on Tuesday.
“There were 12 mattresses dumped there last year,” Nowra resident Ron Witz said.
“I find this an absolute assault on the environment.
“The worst thing is, they’ve driven past the turn-off to the tip and dumped it there.”
Individuals can be fined between $1500 and $8000 for dumping items in NSW, and the fine is double for a business.
Convictions in the Land & Environment Court could also include a custodial sentence for repeat offenders.
If you can help council identify the culprit, contact ranger services on (02) 4429 3433.
