The 38-year-old man appeared in Nowra Local Court on Monday charged with assault with an act of indecency.
The charges stem from an incident in Worrigee on December 22 last year, where the man allegedly touched and rubbed a young woman’s breasts and genitals.
Court papers said the woman was known to the man and had over a number of years cleaned his house.
The assault allegedly took place as the woman was showing the man how to use Snapchat.
It is alleged the man came up behind the woman and started rubbing her shoulders before touching her breasts and bottom and rubbing her vagina.
In court papers police said the man had a history of sexual violence towards women.
The man has not entered any plea to the charge.
He did not apply for bail, which was formally refused by Magistrate Gabriel Fleming.
He will reappear on January 16.
