Hoot! Hoot! Kids holiday workshop saw little ones aged three to five create their own colourful owls on Wednesday, January 10.
The workshop wrapped up with a story about owls.
Public programs and education officer Fiona McFadyen said the event tied in an exhibition currently on display, Sooty Owl.
The older children were also given an opportunity to join in the fun, making colourful candles in the shape of an owl.
More holiday workshops will be run on Thursday, January 10. The creative caterpillar workshop for children aged 3-5 years will be held from 10am-11.30am. Cost is $8.
Sculpt it kids workshop for children aged 6-12 years will be held from 12.30-2.30pm.
