A car has been defected off the road after stopped as part of of Operation Henson on Tuesday, December 19.
At around 11.55am police stopped a green Holden Commodore at the intersection of Dunsisla and Leumeah Street, Sanctuary Point.
A compliance check of the vehicle found that the vehicle had tinted lenses on rear tail light and No Battery Clamp. A defect notice was issued.
The driver of the vehicle also returned a positive Roadside Drug Test.
Local police will continue to target hoon and dangerous driving offences in the Bay and Basin area, but can still use more information about the time and place the dangerous driving is occuring.
Police are encouraging the community to ‘dob in a hoon’ or report dangerous behaviour when it's actually taking place.
