Unfortunately, the scheduled 50 over fixture against South Coast at Croome Cricket Oval on Saturday has been cancelled, meaning the team will only play two Twenty20 matches on Sunday in Queanbeyan – with their opponents to be decided depending on Saturday’s other results.
Bay and Basin’s Kyle Jarrett will skipper the team which includes North Nowra-Cambewarra’s Luke Huard, Cameron Fernie, Jack Carter, Hayden Strand, Damian Spelta and Rhys Burinaga, Ulladulla United’s Rocky Lavelle, Nowra’s Ryan Henry, Bomaderry’s Kealan Blattner, Berry-Shoalhaven Heads’ Max Lans and Batemans Bay’s Jack Gallen.
“I feel very honoured to be named captain of such a quality side,” Jarrett said.
“The fact that a number of the players have played all their junior representative cricket together is a strength of the side, as they all know the standard required.”
